Races

2012 For the Love of the Kids Half Marathon: A head cold and allergies were too much to overcome as my nose was running faster than my legs… finished a local neighborhood 13.1 in 2:27:39.

2011 Philadelphia Marathon: A steady six months of consistent training was not enough to offset poor execution on race day, but still a new personal record in the marathon of 5:13:15 (11:57 minutes/mile).

2011 Rock ‘n Roll Half Marathon: A solid summer of training contributed to a great 13.1 run with a new personal record of 2:14:04 (10:14 minutes/mile)

2011 Bucks County Half Marathon: A spring half marathon made sense when I signed up for it, but I had a hard time training consistently through the winner.  It was no surprise that I finished at 2:45:53 (12:40 minutes/mile).

2010 Philadelphia Marathon: I trained the bare minimum to survive my first marathon, and I barely survived  to finish my first 26.2 at 5:31:43 (12:40 minutes/mile).

2010 ING Rock ‘n Roll Philadelphia Half Marathon: I completed this half marathon as my first running event at 45 years young. Since was my first 13.1 race, my finishing time was a Personal Record at 2:23:56 (10:59 minutes/mile).
